Went shopping along the street by the mission home this evening.  I bought units for my phone from from Alhasan.  Further up the street we bought cucumbers, Sierra Leone apples and onions.  Up another street we bought ground nuts (peanuts) and black tumblers.  In the picture the pink fruit is the Sierra Leone apple ... has a flavor like the mild fragrance of a flower.  It's moist and tender but softly crisp.  You can taste sweet and tart but it's neither. The skin is very thin and smooth.  You eat the whole thing ... no core.  The small red seeds are black tumblers.  They are stone hard black seeds with a red soft fuzzy edible skin.  Slightly sweet and tart at the same time.  Mostly a waste of time.  The ground nuts are roasted over a charcoal fire and are very tasty.
